This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Cat Noises – Meow (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1) What we collect

We do not require you to create an account and we do not request your name, email, or phone number inside the App. The App and our service providers may process:

• App usage data: interactions with screens, features and sounds, session length, in-app events, performance metrics.
• Device and diagnostic data: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP address (for approximate location), crash logs.
• Advertising identifiers: Apple IDFA (if granted via App Tracking Transparency) or Google Advertising ID for ads and measurement.

2) How we collect it

• Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand aggregate usage and improve the App.
• Google AdMob to display ads (which may be personalized where permitted).

3) How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and user experience.
• Measure performance, debug issues, and prevent fraud/abuse.
• Show ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your choices/region).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4) Third-party services

Our providers process data per their policies:

These partners may use cookies/SDKs to collect identifiers and usage data for analytics and ads.

5) Personalized vs. non-personalized ads

You can opt out of personalized ads:

• iOS: Control personalized ads via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and Apple’s ad settings.
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads (Delete/Reset Advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization).
• Within the App (where a consent dialog is presented), choose non-personalized ads.

6) Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

• Consent: for analytics and personalized advertising where required.
• Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the App (balanced with your rights).

7) Data retention

We retain analytics and log data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then aggregate or delete it per our and our providers’ retention schedules.

8) Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age limits that require parental consent in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

9) Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; to opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising; and to portability. 10) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11) International transfers

Information may be processed on servers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be notified in-app.
